Greetings from Rajeev

Hi all...my name is Rajeev Ram and I am going to be playing in the Music City Challenger in a week. First I just want to compliment all the volunteers and tournament staff for putting on a first class event. I have played in Nashville a few times now and it is definitely one of the premier events on the challenger circuit. It's especially nice to have an event like that at the end of the year when everyone is a little tired mentally.

I am playing in Louisville this week. The people here run a great event as well. I guess it's the Southern hospitality that helps make is so nice. My first match is either on Monday or Tuesday so Im just getting ready for that. I am really looking forward to coming to Nashville but I hope I am still here for a while.

Thats all for now..I'll see everyone next week

Take care,
Rajeev

Volunteers Still Needed

The Music City Challenger is just a few weeks away and volunteers are still needed to help with the event. We've got spots open for Ball people (kids and adults) and other opportunities, too.

If you are interested in working as a Ball person, contact Rocky Adcox (rockyadcox@gtrc.us) and we'll be sure to get you trained before the event. The last official training for ball people is this Saturday 10/25 from 4-5 at Hillwood/Whitworth Swim and Tennis club.

Be sure to check here regularly as we will have some guest bloggers talking about their tournament experience.
